
On November 2, 2008, thirteen families reached out and came together to share their common heritage, culture, and interests. The initial goal was to form a “samahan” or fellowship among the dedicated pioneers. However, the belief that all “kababayans” or countrymen, in the area needed a group where they could come together and find camaraderie was indeed, very powerful.

The mission of Manilatown Heritage Foundation is to promote social and economic justice for Filipinos in America by preserving our history, advocating for equal access, and advancing our arts and culture

The Kawitenos of Southern California is a non-profit, non-denomination organization founded in 1974 by a small group of Filipinos in San Diego, California, who prior to emigration to the United States, were residents of the historic town of Kawit, Cavite, the hometown of the first President of the Philippine Republic Emilio Aguinaldo and where the first Philippine Independence was proclaimed in 1898.

OUR mission is to uplift and strengthen the image and awareness of Filipino Martial Arts, especially within our Filipino communities throughout the world. Educate those unaware of our revered fighting arts (Arnis, Kali, Eskrima) indigenous to the Philippines.

FilAm Creative is a not-for-profit all volunteer community organization dedicated to the advancement of Filipino-Americans in entertainment and media. We are members of the FIlipino American Network (FAN).

SCMA was established in 1977 with the objective of unifying alumni of the Mapua Institute of Technology within Southern California. More details of our history will be posted soon.

The Filipino American Society of Architects and Engineers is a professional organization of individuals of Filipino descent who have been educated and trained as Architects and Engineers, or in any related fields of academic study. Membership in the organization is open to all other individuals who are not of Filipino ethnicity.
